Introduction

This is a pilot voucher program to Accelerate Hybrid Cloud adoption and demonstrate the value of Azure Local with Intel technology. As of January 2025, Microsoft-selected partners can participate in this pilot program to support customers transitioning from legacy systems to Azure Stack Local using Intel technology. This program offers credits on services that help accelerate the adoption of Azure Local using Intel technology.

  • This program provides Pre-Sales deployment offers for Azure Local on Intel technology to partners.

  • Target Audience of customers using: Windows Server 2012, SQL 2012, VMware and or Nutanix legacy migrations

  • Deployment to be paid based on pre-set requirements (min. #nodes, #deal size, target segment, for example Enterprise).

  • Up to $28K voucher based on a combination of nodes deployed and assessment workshop completion. Activity based on assessment + migration.

How it Works

Microsoft selected partners can nominate eligible customers by filling out the Partner/Customer Intake form and submitting it to the Azure Program team for approval. Once approved, eligible customers and their partners will receive a voucher to be used towards services that aim to help transition and maximize value from Azure Stack Local deployments with Intel technology.

Common Questions

What materials do I present when performing the Assessment Workshop?

Partners will use the mandatory Intel Customer Workshop Presentation along with their own materials when choosing to perform the Assessment Workshop.

How do I nominate my customers to get a voucher issued?

Partners will submit a completed Customer Intake/Nomination form to Dion Ubert (Azure team) for approval. Once approved, a voucher is issued to the eligible customer and to the partner who nominated them to begin work.

Migration Accelerator criteria for payment and timeline?

Partners choose the number of nodes they plan to deploy in the SOW then begin work and once all work is completed, the partner will then submit POE on or before June 30, 2025. The telemetry data is reviewed to confirm the number of nodes were deployed and matches the POE/SOW numbers. Payment is then issued 45 days after the last day of the month that it was submitted.

Assessment Workshop criteria for payment and timeline?

Partners must include their specific company information within the Intel Customer Workshop Presentation deck and then email that deck to registration email plus submit the final POE with customer signature for proof of execution for payment.

Why must I set up Payment Central before submitting a statement of work (SOW)?

All payments are made through Payment Central, and this setup can take some time to complete. It is very important to begin Payment Central setup as soon as you are invited to join this program. Here is the link to learn more about Payment Central: Payment Central Knowledge Based Article
