Overview
The following table represents the conditions under which a partner may or may not decline a referral and the steps the Referral Operations team will take after a partner has declined a referral.

Customer prefers to work with a different partner | Yes |
Out of scope for FastTrack Benefit – Partner support case | No. The referral is not reprocessed and is closed. |
Out of scope for FastTrack Benefit - Customer is unwilling to pay for additional services | No. The referral is not reprocessed and is closed. |
Partner does not have capacity to support referral | Yes |
Partner does not support referred workloads | Yes. Validate the partner’s endorsements and escalate to leadership if necessary |
Invalid referral, customer is already working with another partner | No. The referral is not reprocessed and is closed. |
Customer is unable to work with partner due to legal/political conflicts | Yes. The referral is reprocessed if the customer is unable to work with the current partner due to legal conflict. |
Partner does not support customer type (Government/Education/Non-profit) | Yes |
Customer requires partner resources who speak their language | Yes. Contingent on partner/language availability |
