Release of New Copilot Growth Propensity and FY26 EA Security and MCI Workshop Eligibility in FastTrack Partner Center Experience (FPX)

New FPC announcement...

We are excited to announce the launch of the Copilot Growth Opportunities within the FastTrack Partner Center Experience (FPX). With this release, we are bringing the latest Microsoft data and machine learning intelligence (ML) to enhance the ability to grow your Copilot pipeline throughout the customer lifecycle. A broad spectrum of signals such as free Copilot web chat, Copilot in-app usage, and licensing are distilled into actionable insights at a customer-tenant level. These insights are also influenced by ML models that estimate Copilot adoption propensity, expansion propensity, and predicted time-to-value for the customer.

Additionally, we are releasing this new experience with refreshed workshop and incentive eligibility data across Copilot and Secure Productivity. Not only are the workshops updated to reflect the FY26 Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI) program, but they also include EA security (formerly CSI) workshops, a net new addition to the incentives that are available to explore in FPX.

A consistent modernized experience

The visual architecture of the Copilot Opportunities tab mirrors that of the E3/E5/E5 Expansion Opportunities tabs, creating a consistent experience and allowing:

  1. Richer visualizations and interactive charts that allow you to gain insights at-a-glance and target/filter opportunities faster. This includes a 6-month time-trend of Copilot usage to track major shifts across your pipeline
  2. More readily available metric definitions and data drill downs via hovering/tooltip and flyout pane interactions, revealing detailed Copilot in-app usage and enabling enhanced propensity model interpretability

Richer Usage Data and the latest data science-driven propensity

The Copilot Opportunities tab includes granular Copilot usage and some of the latest ML-enabled Copilot propensity models. The key highlights are:

  1. Free and paid Copilot usage across licensed and unlicensed users at a tenant level, including free-to-paid whitespace.
  2. Propensity for M365 Copilot seat expansion or purchase.
  3. Propensity for M365 Copilot adoption for users currently not assigned to a license.
  4. Time-to-value based assessment of account M365 adoption status.
  5. Copilot in-app usage
  6. MCI incentive eligibility to propel copilot adoption and seat expansion.

Drill down for deeper insights

For further insight into an account’s use of the Copilot suite of products, drill down into the All-Copilot MAU metric. This reveals free (unlicensed usage), licensed usage, and in-app usage metrics such as Copilot in Teams, Copilot in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Copilot for Sales, and more!

Additionally, to improve ML-model interpretability and explainability, we have added model recommendation details/reasons for Copilot adoption and expansion-ready propensity insights (in preview, still being tuned for greater clarity by Microsoft data science teams).

MCI Workshop Incentive eligibility refresh FY26

Follow the same workflow as before to reveal FY26 workshop eligibility and capitalize on potential earnings for high propensity tenants. These workshops are eligible for you to deliver and for the customer (tenant) to receive based on program eligibility guidelines and geographic location. Copilot specific eligibility is available in the Copilot Opportunities tabs.

EA Security (formerly CSI) eligibility available in E3/E5/E5 expansion Opportunity Tabs

EA security workshop eligibility is included across the Secure Productivity opportunity tabs. These workshops will only be visible for partners that are eligible EA security partners, and for tenants that pass program eligibility guidelines.

Additional notes

  • API: All insights available in the FPX UI (Copilot and Secure Productivity Growth and Upsell Opportunities) are also available via the API, so you can programmatically connect to this data.

Known issues and limitations

  • For a few partners with a large CSP customer base, initial FPX page load times may be longer. After the first load, performance should match previous levels. We are addressing this issue and will continue to release performance optimizations soon to restore load times to under 3 seconds.
  • The “Tenants” tab is unchanged. There may be some minor differences in usage data between the Tenants tab and the new E3/E5/E5 Expansion Opportunity tabs for now. We are working on revamping the Tenants tab as part of our roadmap.
  • The “Copilot Adoption by State” categorization is still in preview. These ML insights are continuously trained with fresh data, which will make it more accurate over time. Please make sure to align these insights with the other data points as well for the tenant.
  • Horizontal scroll of table not visible at lower screen resolution. We are working on an update for this UX element.
